In a stroke of luck, on animal attire day we had our first visit from Christina from Shelby County Conservation. She brought her hawk (Pirate) and owl (Harry) for us to meet as well as feathers and talons to pass around and feel!
Yesterday the elementary "went wild" with their animal themed attire!

5th graders had their first leadership opportunity this morning: helping the fall festival committee with clean up and prep for Saturday's festivities! Don't forget to come check it out -- there may be some teachers in the dunk tank... 😁

On Friday Spartan 5th Graders got a private visit to the GreenRidge Steam Show near Irwin. They were able to pet a yak, make fresh pressed apple juice and see demonstrations from a broom maker, blacksmith, engineer, and more! Some were even on the radio!
